Why a Skincare routine?

 Skincare routine? Nahhhh...I don't need it! A lot of you might say and maybe some of you are already having your own. But either way, I am gonna talk about the importance of having a routine for yourself. As a lot of us out there really ignore this process and as a guy, you might say it's not necessary for a guy. But did you know everyone one of them you see in TV, series, movies that are good looking already have their own unique routine for themselves?

In today's era, a lot of us don't have the time to take care of the skin or face but proper skincare is important because our skin is the largest barrier against infection.



The first impression is the best impression


First sight every one catches the fashion we follow and skin we have…it need not be white and glorious but neatness and healthy skin also adds to have a great impression

It's not only for the others viewing, by taking care of ourselves it makes ourselves love us…


I can say it like this,


A good skincare routine is like taking care of your mouth.

You brush your teeth, floss, avoid sugar, eat a healthy diet; you do all of these things to keep your mouth healthy.

A healthy mouth enables you to enjoy eating your food. A healthy mouth gives you a beautiful smile. A healthy mouth means you feel good, you are free of pain, your body feels good being alive.

A good skincare routine promotes good health in your skin. Healthy skin is beautiful. It reflects a luminescence that says your body is healthy. Healthy skin presents you in a flattering light. Healthy skin communicates the good health of your body.

Healthy skin feels good. Your skin performs its purpose really well. It is your protector. It keeps harmful substances on the outside.




The skin is what you naturally wear on the outside, it's a major factor that boosts our confidence level so it's our duty to take care of it.


Your skin is one of the largest organs your body has, and it works hard every day to protect our bodies from harmful elements. Taking care of your skin and developing a skincare routine is important because it can help this organ do its job better and longer.

Skin, the largest organ of our body, has a vital role to play. From acting as a defense against environmental hazards to regulating the temperature, the skin has multiple tasks to perform. All the functions performed by the skin are designed to help the body keep working properly. 




Start early



The earlier, the better. Many people start too late when their skin is already damaged both internally and externally, so starting earlier is ideal, as it would prevent much of it in the first place. Not only would it preserve the skin’s current health, but it would also make it healthier and more resilient for the future.


I regret not starting earlier. Back in those days when I started getting my first pimples I really didn't seem to care, thinking it would fade away with time. With my ignorance came the utter consequences...They kept increasing rapidly to a point I didn't like looking at my own face in the mirror. But you my fellow readers are lucky if you came across this blog post as you will understand the importance of having a skincare routine and hopefully you will implement one yourself at the end of this blog. Or maybe you can search for ways right now ;) it's your life and the choices you make, so do it for yourself!




Think of it as part of personal hygiene like bathing or brushing your teeth. It’s an investment in your health, like exercise or vaccines, which can be considered an investment in the future. After all, the skin is the largest organ of the body, and you only get one. Take care of it, like any other part of your health, and it will return the favor.




A suitable skincare routine is all you need to have fresh and glowing skin. This routine is quite similar to the products you use. Products can be both good and inferior quality. Good quality products make your skin look much better whereas inferior quality products harm your skin. Honestly, I recommend going completely natural. Why not use what nature has given you right?

Good skincare requires effort and a particular regime should be followed regularly. Hence, it is necessary to note that quality skincare is essential. Let us take a look at the importance of skincare-

Skin cells are shredded throughout the day so it is quintessential to keep your skin in a good condition and definitely with a glow. An effective routine prevents the growth of acne, pimples, wrinkles around the face and makes the skin look its best.


With age, the cells of the skin turn over gradually thereby making it dull and dusky. The dead skin cells can be removed with the help of a good quality skincare routine. These dead skin cells will be soon replaced by the newer ones making one look much younger than age.



As the famous saying goes ‘Prevention is better than cure’ so it is easy to prevent the problems related to the skin than trying to fix them later in the future. The process of prevention is cheap and more effective. It is a mandate to take good care of skin irrespective of age.

Good and healthy skin makes one look not only better and fresh but also boosts self-confidence at the same time. The appearance and the presence of a person with glowing and radiant skin make it worthwhile





To age gracefully and with dignity, good skincare is indispensable. If you have a strict skincare routine right from childhood then skin remains healthy for a very long time. Cleansing and moisturizing of skin right childhood is basic skincare. It helps to treat the sagging of skin also which is a common skin problem that comes with age.

Our skin is one of the largest organs your body has, and it works hard every day to protect our bodies from harmful elements. Taking care of your skin and developing a skincare routine is important because it can help this organ do its job better and longer. 

Skin Care is the most essential for graceful aging. Over time, harsh elements in the environment affect the skin making it dryer and tougher. A good skincare routine can help with the longevity of supple, healthy skin and can also slow down the harmful effects of the environment on the skin.

With age comes wrinkles and sagging in the skin. Good skin care requires 3 steps which include cleansing, toning, and moisturizing. Cleansing is essential to remove dirt and dead skin cells. It helps to prevent pimples or acne. Toning helps with removing dirt and tightening the pores. 

Moisturizing helps with hydration and Vitamin E is often included in good skin care products as it helps moisturize the skin. It also maintains elasticity. 

Well personally I don't really do all these steps but I have my own facewash which I recognized that works for my skin the best. And on the way, I discovered a few natural remedies through Pinterest! Well try each and every and see which one works the best for you. You never know which one will work out the better.

If you haven’t been taking your skincare routine seriously till now, it’s time that you should. Just as you exercise and follow a healthy diet regularly to stay healthy, skincare is also equally important as skin is the largest organ our body has.

Here are some key reasons why you should start following a skincare routine

Your skin sheds daily by itself: Though you think your skin is healthy-looking now, your skin sheds itself daily. This means your healthy skin today will be shedding by the next day. So not following a simple skincare routine that includes cleanser and moisturizer can make your skin dull and lifeless.

Beautiful skin takes time: Achieving and maintaining naturally beautiful skin is a long process and it takes time. It takes everything from keeping yourself hydrated and eating healthy food to choose the right skincare products to suit your skin type.




A skincare routine is important to maintain healthy skin. Like daily tooth brushing and flossing, skincare should become a habit.

It can be as simple as cleansing your skin twice a day and applying sunscreen every morning, or a more complex routine to deal with skin challenges.

The important concept here is “routine.” A simple skincare routine is better than a complex one that is skipped frequently


Your face will represent you for your entire life…caring for your skin (on the body as well) is an investment worth every penny!!!
